Description
The Sony FWD-32W8001 (W800 series) is a compact, budget-focused commercial TV designed for reception areas, small meeting rooms, waiting areas and hybrid signage/television use where a 32" HD Ready screen is sufficient. It remains part of Sony's current FWD commercial lineup precisely because it fills that entry-level, tuner-equipped niche - larger commercial displays in the range start at 4K, so the W800 series continues to be sold new rather than being propped up as legacy stock. It uses Sony's X-Reality PRO processing to sharpen and reduce noise in standard-definition and HD content, and runs Android TV for access to streaming apps alongside its integrated digital tuner - useful where a display needs to show broadcast TV as well as signage content. As a genuine FWD commercial model it carries Sony's 3-year PrimeSupport warranty rather than a standard consumer guarantee. Buyers should note the HD Ready (1366x768) resolution is well below the 4K UHD standard of the rest of Sony's current commercial range - it suits small-screen, close-viewing-distance applications rather than signage requiring fine detail. This is a non-touch display.
