Description
The Samsung OH55A-S extends Samsung's outdoor signage range to 55 inches, combining a 3,500 nit typical (4,000 nit peak) VA panel with tempered, IK10-rated Magic Protection Glass and an IP56 rating for dust and water resistance. An anti-reflective coating keeps total screen reflectance below 1.5%, and polarisation-friendly technology prevents content dropping out when viewed through polarised sunglasses. Four newly added hidden cooling fans on the underside of the unit help manage heat and reduce the risk of internal condensation in humid outdoor conditions, while an auto-brightness sensor continuously adjusts output to ambient light. The display runs Tizen 5.0 with 8GB of onboard flash storage for standalone content playback, and includes Samsung Knox three-layer security. Rated for 24/7 operation between -30°C and 50°C, the OH55A-S is designed for transport interchanges, retail forecourts and outdoor advertising sites needing a mid-size, high-brightness display.
