Description
The JVC DLA-NP5 is the entry point into JVC's native 4K D-ILA laser projector range, using three genuine 0.69-inch 4K D-ILA imaging devices rather than pixel-shifting, driven by a 17-element, 15-group all-glass 65mm lens for edge-to-edge sharpness. Brightness is rated at 1,900 lumens from a BLU-Escent laser light source, with native contrast of 40,000:1 (400,000:1 dynamic). It supports the full range of modern HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG, backed by JVC's Frame Adapt HDR scene analysis to automatically map tone curves without manual adjustment on every title. Two HDMI 2.1-class inputs (48Gbps, HDCP 2.3) accept 4K/120p signals, and a dedicated Low Latency mode makes it usable for serious console and PC gaming as well as film. This is the '-WE' (white) finish of the DLA-NP5, JVC's smallest and most affordable current D-ILA laser model, sitting below the DLA-NZ series in JVC's home cinema line-up.
