Description
The DLA-NZ500 is part of JVC's current-generation compact D-ILA line-up, alongside the NZ700, NZ800 and NZ900. It uses JVC's Gen 2 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA chipset in a chassis around 35% smaller than the previous generation, while retaining a BLU-Escent laser light source rated at approximately 20,000 hours. Brightness is rated at 2,000 lumens with 40,000:1 native contrast, and the projector supports HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG with Gen2 Frame Adapt HDR for automatic scene optimisation. A newly designed all-glass lens projects full native 4K resolution to every corner of the image, and dual 48Gbps HDMI inputs accept 8K/60p and 4K/120p signals for both high-resolution source material and low-latency gaming. As the entry model in JVC's newest D-ILA family it is positioned below the NZ700, giving buyers a more affordable route into JVC's laser D-ILA home cinema technology.
