Description

The DLA-NZ700 is billed by JVC as the world's smallest native 4K D-ILA projector, a completely redesigned chassis roughly 35% smaller than the outgoing NZ7 it succeeds. It uses JVC's 3rd-generation native 4K D-ILA chipset paired with a newly designed large-aperture 80mm, 11-group, 15-element lens, delivering 2,300 lumens and a native contrast ratio of 80,000:1 from a BLU-Escent laser source rated at roughly 20,000 hours. Gen2 Frame Adapt HDR improves real-time HDR mapping for HDR10 and HDR10+ content, and FILMMAKER MODE preserves creators' intended picture settings scene by scene. As with the rest of the current D-ILA range, it accepts 8K/60p and 4K/120p signals over its HDMI inputs for both high-resolution playback and low-latency gaming. The NZ700 sits between the NZ500 and NZ800 in JVC's current line-up, offering a meaningful step up in contrast and lens quality over the NZ500 while remaining more compact than the flagship NZ800/NZ900 pair.
