Description
The DLA-NZ800 is one of JVC's current 8K/e-shiftX flagship home cinema projectors, sitting just below the NZ900. It uses three Gen3 native 4K D-ILA devices and JVC's 8K/e-shiftX pixel-shifting technology to produce over 35.3 million addressable pixels from 8K/60p and 4K/120p input signals. Brightness is rated at 2,700 lumens with a native contrast ratio of 100,000:1 (effectively infinite dynamic contrast) from its BLU-Escent laser light source, rated for approximately 20,000 hours. HDR support spans HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG, all processed through Gen2 Frame Adapt HDR for scene-optimised tone mapping. ISF certification and Filmmaker Mode support help preserve accurate colour and gamma for serious home cinema use, and motorised focus, zoom and lens shift simplify installation. The NZ800 is a genuinely distinct current model from the older NZ8 — a different generation with higher brightness, higher native contrast and a redesigned optical engine — both remain separately listed as current products on JVC's official site.

|---|---|---|
| 60" | 1.29 m × 0.81 m | 1.8 m – 3.8 m |
