Description
The DLA-NZ8 sits in the upper tier of JVC's original 8K/e-shiftX D-ILA generation, alongside the NZ7 and NZ9. It uses three native 4K D-ILA devices with 8K/e-shiftX diagonal pixel-shifting, driven by a premium 17-element, 15-group all-glass lens with a full aluminium barrel and 2x zoom. Brightness reaches 2,500 lumens from a BLU-Escent laser source, with native contrast of 80,000:1. It supports HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG with Frame Adapt HDR Generation 2 processing, and its dual 48Gbps HDMI inputs accept 8K/60p and 4K/120p signals. This is a genuinely distinct model from the newer DLA-NZ800 — not a duplicate — the two remain separate current products in JVC's parallel 'classic' (NZ7/8/9) and 'current-generation' (NZ500/700/800/900) D-ILA families, sold at different price points and specifications (2,500lm/80,000:1 for NZ8 vs 2,700lm/100,000:1 for NZ800). It remains listed as a current, active model on JVC Europe's official D-ILA projector pages.
