Description
The BenQ MW855UST+ is a WXGA (1280x800) ultra-short-throw projector delivering 3500 ANSI lumens, designed to be mounted just centimetres from the screen so presenters can move freely in front of it without casting shadows or being dazzled by the beam. Its 0.35 throw ratio suits classrooms and meeting rooms with limited depth, and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio (FOFO) keeps text and graphics legible under normal room lighting. The lamp light engine offers a choice of Normal, Eco, SmartEco and LampSave modes, extending bulb life up to 12,000 hours in the most economical setting. Connectivity is extensive for a room projector in this class: VGA input, two HDMI 2.0a inputs with HDCP2.2, composite video, LAN (RJ45), USB Type-A/Type-B/Mini-B and RS232, supporting both walk-up sources and network/control-system integration. A 10W stereo speaker pair, 2D keystone (+/-15 degrees) and +/-2% vertical lens shift round out the setup options. The MW855UST+ is well suited to meeting rooms and classrooms that need a shadow-free, close-mounted projector, and is covered by BenQ's standard warranty.
Key features
A 0.35 throw ratio lets the MW855UST+ be mounted close to the screen, eliminating shadows and glare so presenters and students can interact with the board freely.
3500 ANSI lumens at WXGA (1280x800) resolution keeps text and graphics legible under typical classroom and meeting-room lighting.
VGA, dual HDMI 2.0a, composite video, LAN (RJ45), USB Type-A/B/Mini-B and RS232 support a wide range of sources and network/control integration.
Normal, Eco, SmartEco and LampSave modes extend bulb life up to 12,000 hours, reducing running costs and maintenance frequency.
