Description
The NEC PA1004UL is a professional installation projector from Sharp/NEC's Advanced Projector series, built around a completely sealed, filter-free 3-chip LCD laser optical engine designed for higher education, museum, corporate and leisure installations that demand very low maintenance. It delivers up to 9,000 lumens in standard mode (10,000 lumens in Boost mode) at native WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution, with a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. Its laser light source is rated for up to 20,000 hours without lamp replacement, and 12-bit colour signal processing with factory pre-calibrated white point performance ensures consistent, accurate colour across multi-unit installations. An IP5X dust-ingress rating protects the LCD panels for long-term reliability in demanding environments. The PA1004UL supports NEC's full range of interchangeable NP-series lenses (from the NP11FL 0.79:1 ultra-short throw up to the NP15ZL long-throw 4.59-7.02:1 zoom), giving installers flexibility across a wide variety of room shapes and throw distances. It carries a three-year pan-European service warranty on the projector body.
