Description
The Panasonic PT-REZ80 is a large-venue 1-Chip DLP laser projector delivering 8,000 lm (ANSI, 8,200 lm centre) at native WUXGA resolution from a 0.8-inch, 2,304,000-pixel DMD chip, part of the PT-REZ15 installation series aimed at large auditoria, houses of worship and broadcast/staging environments. It ships with the ET-C1S600 zoom lens (1.36-2.10:1 powered zoom) as standard, and is compatible with Panasonic's wider range of optional C1 Series lenses spanning 0.308:1 ultra-short-throw to 11.0:1 long-throw. A laser diode light source rated at approximately 20,000 hours in Normal mode (until output falls to 50%) removes lamp replacement from the maintenance cycle, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 25,000:1 keeps image detail visible across bright and dark content. Connectivity includes two HDMI inputs, DisplayPort, LAN, USB, RS-232C serial and an Intel SDM slot for optional function boards such as 12G-SDI or DIGITAL LINK terminals. At approximately 28.7 kg with lens (27.0 kg for the lensless PT-REZ80L variant), the PT-REZ80 supports 360-degree installation, backup input switching and geometric/edge-blending adjustment for multi-projector arrays, making it a robust choice for demanding fixed installations that need laser-class reliability at high brightness.
