Description
The Sony VPL-FHZ101L is a high-brightness 3LCD laser installation projector for large venues, delivering 10,000 lumens (10,400 lm centre) from a WUXGA (1920x1200) BrightEra panel set. Note: the manufacturer's current model designation is VPL-FHZ101L (with the 'L' laser suffix); the competitor listings this product was sourced from used inconsistent SKUs without the suffix, but specifications confirm the current model. Like its FHZ91L and FHZ131L siblings, the FHZ101L is sold body-only: focus, zoom and lens shift are all powered, but the projection lens is a separate, interchangeable accessory chosen from Sony's VPLL-Z4xxx range to match the installation's throw distance. Sony's Intelligent Setting function pre-configures brightness, cooling and colour presets, and the 20,000-hour laser light source avoids lamp replacement. Networked control and monitoring via Crestron Connected and Extron XTP, plus edge blending for multi-projector super-size displays and lens position memory (with the optional VPLL-Z4111 lens), make this a natural fit for AV-integrated corporate, education and museum environments.
