Description
The DLA-NZ900 is JVC's current flagship home cinema projector, topping the D-ILA range above the NZ800. It combines three Gen3 native 4K D-ILA devices with 8K/e-shiftX pixel-shifting and an 18-element, 16-group all-glass lens with a full aluminium barrel and five ED lens elements to control chromatic aberration when the lens is shifted. Peak brightness reaches 3,300 lumens from its BLU-Escent laser light source, rated for roughly 20,000 hours, with the highest native contrast ratio in JVC's current line-up. It supports HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG via Frame Adapt HDR Generation 2 for automatic, scene-optimised tone mapping, and accepts 8K/60p and 4K/120p signals over dual 48Gbps HDMI inputs. ISF certification and Filmmaker Mode compatibility support accurate, reference-quality calibration for dedicated cinema rooms. As JVC's newest and most capable D-ILA projector it commands a premium price versus the rest of the range, reflecting its larger optical engine, more elaborate lens design and flagship contrast performance.
