Description
The DLA-NZ9 was the flagship of JVC's original 8K/e-shiftX D-ILA generation, using three native 4K D-ILA devices and an 18-element, 16-group all-glass lens in a full aluminium barrel with five ED lens elements to minimise chromatic aberration. It delivers 3,000 lumens from its BLU-Escent laser source with a native contrast ratio of 100,000:1, and a rated laser life of approximately 20,000 hours. HDR handling covers HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG with Frame Adapt HDR Generation 2 processing, and dual 48Gbps HDMI inputs support 8K/60p and 4K/120p signals. Motorised focus, zoom and lens shift, ISF certification and Filmmaker Mode compatibility round out a projector built for reference-quality home cinema. The NZ9 is a distinct current model from the newer NZ900 — a different, earlier generation with lower peak brightness (3,000lm vs 3,300lm) and lower native contrast (100,000:1 vs approx. 150,000:1) — both remain separately listed as active current products on JVC's official EU site.
