Description
The Optoma ZU2200 is the flagship of Optoma's Ultra Bright Series - a 22,000-lumen WUXGA (1920x1200) professional laser projector built for the most demanding high-end installations in entertainment, exhibition and digital signage markets. It uses a DuraCore MultiColor Laser (MCL) light source for superior colour rendition, delivers a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and includes a robust metal chassis with modular design plus built-in failsafe redundancy mode for instant source switching in mission-critical deployments. As Optoma's own specification confirms, screen size and throw distance for the ZU2200 are "dependent on lens" - the unit ships as a body-only projector. Eight interchangeable lens options (BX-CTA11, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 27) are available separately, covering throw ratios from 0.65:1 to 10.8:1, to be chosen according to the installation's throw distance and purchased in addition to the projector body. With 30,000-hour laser life, IP5X dust resistance, full 3D support, and 24/7 and 360-degree operating capability, the ZU2200 is engineered for permanent large-venue installations such as immersive attractions, control rooms and major exhibition spaces. Connectivity includes DisplayPort, dual HDMI, DVI-D, HDBaseT and 3G-SDI. A compatible BX-CTA lens must be purchased separately to complete the installation.
