Description

The Panasonic PT-MZ20KLBEJ is a 20,000 lumen WUXGA 3-chip LCD laser projector and, at launch, the world's smallest, lightest and quietest projector in its brightness class at approximately 23 kg. It is aimed at large lecture theatres, houses of worship, control rooms and rental/staging applications where a compact, high-output body is needed. The projector is sold body-only: Panasonic ships the PT-MZ20KL without a lens fitted, with eight optional lenses available to match different throw distances. A laser phosphor light source rated at 20,000 hours (to 50% brightness) removes the need for lamp or filter replacement, while the Pure White Generator and Dynamic Contrast NX technologies produce accurate colour and deep blacks even in ambient light. The projector reaches full 20,000 lm brightness on both 100-120V and 200-240V supplies, and includes an SDI input alongside dual HDMI (4K/60p) and HDBaseT/DIGITAL LINK connectivity for long cable runs. Noise is rated at 42 dB in Normal mode and 36 dB in Quiet mode, and NFC-based setup allows configuration without powering the unit on, easing commissioning in ceiling or truss-mounted installs.
