Description

The Panasonic PT-FRQ50 is a 5,200 lm (ANSI) 1-Chip DLP SOLID SHINE laser projector that uses Quad Pixel Drive pixel-shifting to display smooth, richly detailed 4K (3840 x 2160) images from a 0.65-inch DMD chip. It targets corporate, education and creative/projection-mapping applications where fine image detail and low input lag both matter: the projector supports 240 Hz/1080p frame rates with under 8 ms of input-to-output latency. Optically it shares the FRZ60-family's 2.0x manual zoom lens (1.46-2.93:1 throw ratio) and V/H lens-shift, and Rich Colour Enhancer processing is used to improve colour accuracy alongside the Quad Pixel Drive detail. A filterless, hermetically sealed optical block combined with heat-pipe cooling supports up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation from the laser light source, removing both lamp and filter replacement from the upkeep schedule. Connectivity includes two HDCP 2.3 HDMI inputs, 4K DIGITAL LINK and a dedicated LAN port, and the projector is compatible with Panasonic's Real-Time Tracking software for projection mapping onto moving objects. Quiet Mode operating noise is rated at 28 dB, making it suitable for noise-sensitive venues.
