Description
The Panasonic PT-FRZ60 is a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 1-Chip DLP installation projector producing 6,000 lm (ANSI) from a durable solid-state laser module, positioned as a cost-effective, lamp-free replacement for legacy PT-RZ570-class projectors. It shares the same 2.0x optical zoom lens (1.46-2.94:1 throw ratio) and V/H lens-shift range as its predecessor, so it drops into existing mounting brackets and installation designs. A Quiet Mode reduces operating noise to a claimed 30 dB, useful in acoustically sensitive boardrooms, lecture theatres and broadcast environments. The laser light source is rated at approximately 20,000 hours in Normal mode, and filterless cooling removes routine filter maintenance from the upkeep schedule. Dual HDMI inputs accept uncompressed 4K/60p signals (HDCP 2.2-compliant), and a DIGITAL LINK terminal allows long-distance signal and control transport over a single LAN cable. With 360-degree installation freedom, geometric and edge-blending adjustment tools, and a 20,000-hour maintenance-free light source, the PT-FRZ60 targets corporate, education and house-of-worship installations that need reliable WUXGA laser brightness without ongoing lamp costs.

Frequently asked questions
How far away from the screen does the PT-FRZ60WEJ need to be?
Its throw ratio is 1.46 to 2.94:1, so for a 100-inch WUXGA (16:10) image (about 2.15m wide) it needs to sit roughly 3.14m to 6.32m away.
How bright is the PT-FRZ60WEJ, and is it a drop-in replacement for older projectors?
It produces 6,000 lm (ANSI), 6,200 lm centre, at native WUXGA resolution, and shares the same lens and mounting bracket as the PT-RZ570, so it drops straight into existing installations.
How quiet is the PT-FRZ60WEJ and does it need filter maintenance?
Its Quiet Mode reduces operating noise to approximately 30 dB, and filterless heat-pipe cooling removes routine filter servicing from the maintenance schedule.
What connectivity does the PT-FRZ60WEJ support for 4K sources?
Its dual HDCP 2.2 HDMI inputs support uncompressed 4K/60p signals, and a DIGITAL LINK terminal allows long-distance signal and control transport over a single LAN cable.
How long does the PT-FRZ60WEJ's laser light source last?
It's rated at approximately 20,000 hours in Normal mode, maintenance-free.
