Description
The Panasonic PT-REQ80BEJ pairs an 8,000 lumen SOLID SHINE laser light source with Panasonic's Quad Pixel Drive pixel-shifting technology to produce a 3840 x 2400 4K UHD image from a native WUXGA 1-Chip DLP engine, giving sharp detail for lecture theatres, control rooms and mid-size venues without the cost of a native 4K panel. It is supplied as standard with a 1.36-2.10:1 zoom lens already fitted (a lens-free 'L' variant is sold separately for projects needing a different throw), and shares the REZ12/REQ80 platform's hermetically sealed, filter-free optical engine for up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. A 25,000:1 contrast ratio and Evolved Dynamic Contrast keep detail visible in both highlights and shadows. Quiet operation (down to 32 dB), dual HDMI and DisplayPort inputs with 4K/60p support, and full-brightness operation across AC 100-240V make the PT-REQ80BEJ straightforward to specify into mixed international AV estates.
