Description
The Panasonic PT-RZ17KEJ is a 3-Chip DLP WUXGA laser projector delivering 16,800 lm (16,000 lm ISO/IEC) from what Panasonic markets as the world's smallest and lightest projector in its brightness class, aimed at stadiums, cinemas, rental and staging companies and other large-venue installations. As with all of Panasonic's large-venue K-series projectors, the PT-RZ17KEJ is sold as a body only: no lens is included, and it is designed to work with Panasonic's ET-D3LE range of interchangeable fixed and zoom lenses selected to suit the throw distance of each installation. A SOLID SHINE laser light source combined with hermetically sealed optics and liquid cooling gives approximately 20,000 hours of maintenance-free, filter-free operation and supports true 360-degree installation - portrait, inverted or any angle in between - without derating brightness. A 25,000:1 contrast ratio with Dynamic Contrast keeps detail visible in demanding show and event lighting conditions. An Intel SDM expansion slot allows third-party or proprietary connectivity boards to be fitted, and dual HDMI plus DisplayPort inputs cover standard AV signal chains. At approximately 35 kg the projector remains manageable for touring and rigging use.
