Description
The Panasonic PT-RQ18KEJ brings native 4K UHD imaging to Panasonic's compact large-venue laser projector range, using pixel-quadrupling Quad Pixel Drive across a 3-Chip DLP engine to output 16,800 lm (16,000 lm ISO/IEC). Panasonic positions it as roughly 40% smaller and 35% lighter than the older PT-RQ22K, fitting into a body similar in size to a 10,000 lm-class 1-Chip DLP unit, which makes it attractive for touring rigs, fixed-install auditoria and museum/attraction applications where space is limited. As with all of Panasonic's RQ/RZ K-series projectors, the PT-RQ18KEJ is supplied as a body only - lens not included - and is designed to be paired with Panasonic's ET-D3LE lens range, including ultra-short-throw and short-throw zoom options, with powered lens shift of up to +/-66% vertical and +/-24% horizontal available on supported lenses. A 20,000-hour laser light source, hermetically sealed optics and liquid cooling support 24/7 operation with minimal maintenance, an Intel SDM slot allows optional connectivity boards, and dual HDMI plus DisplayPort inputs cover typical show and install signal paths.
