Description
BRAVIA Projector 9 (VPL-XW8100ES) is Sony's flagship native 4K SXRD laser home cinema projector, delivering 3,400 lumens through the same SXRD 0.61-inch panel platform as the rest of the range but with the newest XR Processor for projector. This adds XR Dynamic Tone Mapping for frame-by-frame peak brightness analysis, XR Deep Black for precisely controlled laser dimming in dark scenes, and XR Clear Image cross-analysis upscaling that treats individual on-screen objects separately for cleaner detail and less noise. Colour is handled by XR Triluminos Pro (95%+ DCI-P3) together with Live Color Enhancer for saturation-safe HDR. The Advanced Crisp-Focused (ACF) lens carries a 70mm aspherical front element and floating focus group, driven by powered 2.1x zoom (throw ratio 1.35:1-2.84:1) and powered lens shift (+/-85% vertical, +/-36% horizontal). Gaming support includes HDMI 2.1 4K/120 and Auto Low Latency Mode with input lag as low as 12ms. BRAVIA Projector 9 is certified for Control4, Crestron, Savant and AMX automation as well as OvrC and Domotz remote management, making it a natural fit for professional custom-install home cinema projects.
