Description
The Panasonic PT-VMQ65 is a compact 4K LCD installation projector using Panasonic's 2-axis pixel-shifting Quad Pixel Drive to display 3840 x 2400 pixels from a native LCD panel, backed by a laser light source rated at 6,500 lm (ANSI). At around 6.9 kg it is one of the lightest projectors in its brightness class, aimed at simulator bays, control rooms, visitor attractions and other installations where a small footprint and 4K-class clarity both matter. A 1.6x manual zoom lens with a 1.09-1.77:1 throw ratio and generous horizontal and vertical lens shift gives installers flexibility over projector placement, while dual HDMI inputs (CEC-compatible), an HDMI loop-through output and 4K DIGITAL LINK over HDBaseT keep it easy to integrate into modern AV signal chains. The laser light source is rated at approximately 20,000 hours in Normal mode, keeping maintenance intervals long. Data-cloning over LAN or USB lets a single configured unit push its settings to other projectors in a multi-unit installation, a feature aimed squarely at rollouts across multiple identical rooms or bays. Eco-friendly laser operation, low running costs and 4K pixel-shifted detail make the PT-VMQ65 a strong fit for eco-conscious corporate and experiential installations.
